Well, my doubts are already forming about the latest addition to the test plate.  I have not made any video’s yet of the device as I don’t want to waste time if it doesn’t work but I have put it together and done a preliminary test.  What I found?

Well, what I found is that looking over the design put up on the Internet and the claims that its been running for years seems a little strange.  Strange you ask?  but why?  Well, lets get right down to it.  Keeping in mind these are not the final tests, only the preliminary for the evening.

First of all lets talk amperages.  I mentioned in an earlier post that I had not actually performed a test like this yet because I have not figured out how to keep the amps down.  Well, my earlier thoughts seem well formed because this baby cooks.  It is very very active at generating the hydrogen.  However, how is the guy dealing with the heat involved with hooking up 25-30amps on a plastic body casing?  Within just a few minutes of being connected to the battery my negative post began to smoke as it started to melt the PVC cap that I have the elements resting in.

Further tests will reveal for sure if this is real or not, but I have to say at this point that things look a might bit hot for this to play off.  Unless I make the entire thing out of stainless which could deal with the heat, but then that raises a lot of other issues that will have to be dealt with.

I’m going to try to email the person that wrote those articles and see what he suggests because if he says its not an issue then he obviously has not been running this thing.  Not with that kind of power running through it.  It would be above boiling point in the water within a very few minutes.

The upside?  It cooks.  This thing is really pumping the hydrogen out!!

Stay tuned…
